Site Manager of The Roller Skating Site:

Robert got started in competition when he was asked by a beautiful woman to join her in team roller dance competition in 2004. Having never heard of this but being a pretty good session skater I decided to give it a try. Two years later after a lot of sweat and hard work we placed 1st in the 2006 Novice B Team Dance Competition at the National Level.

Robert has been a solo and team dance competitor with numerous wins at the Regional level and have made the finals at Nationals in solo every year since he started. In team, he has made the finals in the Classic Team Division, Novice A Team Division and Esquire Team Divisions. He has years of experience teaching in many different disciplines from figures and freestyle to team and solo dance.

Robert is excited about TheGoSite for many reasons but the one that is at the top is being able to share the sport and friendship that it fosters amongst all skaters. He has a love for teaching and helping others and feels there is no greater reward than helping others achieve their goals!

Robert’s professional career is a design engineer that predominately works in aerospace. He has also been a professional Ski Instructor at various ski areas including Taos, Santa Fe and Sandia Peak in New Mexico. Robert has also been a pilot since 1976 and a professional test pilot since 1978. I fly for fun now and maintain a 1964 “E” model Mooney. Robert is also our Site Manager for our Aviation Site here on TheGoSite.
