What is Fitness Dance?
Fitness dancing is fun! Styles include zumba, group dance workout classes, yoga dance, the bar method, and believe it or not, pole dancing. The basic setting for a fitness dance class is one or two main instructors (and perhaps one or two assistants) leading a group in a choreographed dance. Typically these classes are high intensity to keep the heart rate up however others incorporate strength training movements and positions that professional dancers use in training.
Fitness dancing is something that everyone can try and often becomes a preference for people because you hardly even realize you are exercising! Finding your fitness dancing niche is a great way to try out different styles and get a great workout in the process.
