Skill Level Descriptions

Due to Tri-sports involving three different sports combined you may want to determine your skill differently in one discipline higher or lower than another. When training or joining others we suggest you adjust the activity level according to your individual skill level in each discipline. Below are our suggested defaults for determining overall skill levels for tri-athletes but your training and ability will play an important part in your particular skill level.

Beginner

0-3 competitions completed (for further details click here to see swimming – cycling – running skill levels) NOTE: these are links to the other skill sets on each site.

Intermediate

4-7 competitions completed (for further details click here to see swimming – cycling – running skill levels) NOTE: these are links to the other skill sets on each site.

Advanced

7 or more competitions completed (for further details click here to see swimming – cycling – running skill levels) NOTE: these are links to the other skill sets on each site.
